A Mindfulness practice cultivates awareness, kindness, and encourages self-understanding. Scientific studies suggest a sustained practice benefits emotional and physical health and our overall well-being. Similarly, yoga brings us back to the present moment: to care for our body.
In this workshop, Maggie will introduce the basics of Mindfulness and practices including gentle yoga, seated meditation and body scanning to cultivate a greater sense of mindfulness. Like a scientist we will explore and learn about our mind and body through direct experience.
